The land of Joy returns to Motorcycle Live with a dedicated Ducati Scrambler stand
The Ducati Scrambler was the sales success story of 2015 and this has been reinforced in 2016 with the Scrambler Sixty2 and the Flat Track Pro as this new Ducati brand expands its range. The Ducati Scrambler will have its own stand at Motorcycle live which will incorporate apparel, accessories and the ambience you would expect from the land of joy.
The Ducati Scrambler incorporates six models with five of these featuring the oil cooled L-twin two-valve 803 cc engine. The entry bike to the Ducati Scrambler brand is the Icon version the most affordable of the four, with the other three models, the Urban Enduro, Classic and Full throttle all slightly personalised to represent different genres of the Scrambler family.
Further additions to the Ducati Scrambler brand included the Flat Track Pro -the self-expression at the heart of the Ducati Scrambler taking on a grittier, racier attitude. Inspired by the bike ridden in the American AMA Pro Flat Track 2015 Championship by Troy Bayliss and Johnny Lewis.
The Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 opens the way for a new two-wheel segment that meets the requirements of those seeking an accessible bike that is easy to handle and has low running costs but not wanting to miss out on the unique Scrambler spirit: fun and sharing of positive emotion. The sixty 2 features an air-cooled 399 cm³ L-twin, two-valve that delivers 41hp making it a perfect starting point for new riders as well as being A2 licence compliant.
Sixty2 is a Scrambler inspired by youth street culture, skateboards, street food, pop music and, above all, the pop art that, back in 1962 (the year the very first Ducati Scrambler was launched), was taking the United States by storm.
Ducati Scrambler apparel will be available from the Ducati store adjacent to the Ducati Scrambler stand.
