The stunning new Yamaha show stand will feature the very latest 2018 Yamaha models and displays – with class leading machinery to be found in almost every segment from the ground-breaking R-series Supersport models to our sport heritage and sport touring line-up and of course the award-winning MT range.
Star of the stand will of course be the radical new NIKEN the world’s first production Leaning Multi Wheeled motorcycle. Fitted with a modified version of the acclaimed CP3, 850cc, three-cylinder engine the new NIKEN utilises a revolutionary twin front wheel set up to provide dramatically increased front end grip for improved cornering and braking. With radical styling and a full suite of rider aids the NIKEN takes riding to a new level.
Topping the list of two wheeled new machinery on the Yamaha stand is the all new Tracer 900 and Tracer 900GT model. This best-selling machine has won numerous awards in the past and the latest version looks deliver even more comfort and style with its many changes to chassis and bodywork.
The MT range has shaken up the Hyper Naked segment with a unique combination of performance, style and value. The MT-10 has had a massive impact with its daring styling and seductive cross-plane CP4, 1000cc engine, while the latest version of the three cylinder MT-09 has also proved to be a winner in the sales charts. So following the successful SP version of the MT-10 comes the new MT-09 SP offering an Ohlins rear shock absorber along with upgraded forks, exclusive paint and detailed finishing to give the ultimate three cylinder MT. But the MT-09 SP is not the only new MT for 2018 as the multi award winning MT-07 also receives an update with improved suspension and new body with aggressive styling and better ergonomics
Experience the range of MT models at Motorcycle Live 2017 by visiting the Dark Side MT Tour Test Ride Control next to Door V3.8 in Hall 3A and book a test ride at the show.
For the performance rider, the track focussed R1M limited edition version joins the award winning YZF-R1 to bring the latest track technology to the road and a riding experience that is very close to a real MotoGP bike. With improved electronics, down shifters and stunning new paint schemes the new 2018 supersport machines are ready to go.
New wave custom and retro enthusiasts who appreciate the more traditional machines are also in for a real treat at Motorcycle Live this year with the latest XSR700 and XSR900 on show as part of Yamaha’s Sport Heritage range. Offering a uniquely blend of style and performance the new XSR machines are based on popular MT models with the same performance and handling as the MT version but with an individual character and soul combined with timeless retro style.
There’s something for everyone in Hall 3A with the massive Yamaha stand and full display of bikes plus the popular Yamaha Retail Store packed with the latest clothing and apparel ranges. Surrounding the main stand, you will find the Yamaha Village with Nick Sanders chatting about his adventures in a mock-up of his living room, plus Yamaha partners including Silverstone Circuits, AMCA and Red Tread plus the FJ Owners Club.
And if all that wasn’t enough then head for the very special YZF-R1 display on the Yamaha exhibition unit where you will find a collection of unique Yamaha R1 machines from road, race and drag strip brought together for the first time to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of this iconic sports machine.
