- Stand MCIA TRY RIDE
This year, our updated & improved Learn2Ride Zone offers new riders their first step onto life on two-wheels.
Whether you’re looking to go from pillion to licence holder, improve your commute times & reduce costs, or simply gain some travel independence – this is where you start.
Every day during the show, the Learn to Ride Zone will offer free motorcycle taster sessions with a dedicated professional instructor. And, thanks to the teams from our Official Partners RST, Arai & AGV, who are again providing all safety kit required, all you need to bring is yourself.
Participants will be introduced to the brakes, gears and slow speed handling, under the careful and encouraging guidance of our expert instructors. With small groups & no viewing allowed, you’ll be able to get to grasp with the basics in complete privacy, away from the eyes of show visitors.
Once finished, we’ll explain everything you need to know to continue your journey – how licencing works, what safety equipment you’ll need, and even what bikes you’ll be able to ride, so you can go back into the show & get a feel for what works for you.
This feature is open to anyone aged 14 or over (conditions apply), and is absolutely free.
It is equally as suitable for someone who’s thinking of returning to riding, as it is for complete beginners.
What can I Ride?
Please check back nearer show time for a full list of all the bikes you’ll be able to try.
A valid ticket to the show is required to take part in this feature.
All protective equipment required to participate will be provided and bookings are only taken on the day.
