Rieju celebrated its 75th anniversary last year and the Spanish manufacturer currently produces around 20,000 lightweight motorcycles a year, using cutting-edge technology, such as welding robots, to make critical parts.
New for 2018, the Strada 125 puts the fun back into functional, featuring high specification components throughout, to create the class-leading partner for learner riders and commuters alike.
Developed from the race-winning RS2, the RS3 is powered by a 4 stroke, 4 valve, liquid cooled Yamaha-Minarelli engine, cradled in Rieju’s fine-handling frame, to deliver sports performance. Rieju also offer a 50cc version, with perimeter chassis, liquid cooled Yamaha-Minarelli 2-Stroke motor and 6-speed gearbox, that can be ridden on an AM licence.
The Marathon 125 is one of the best-selling models in the range, equipped with a 15HP Yamaha-Minarelli engine, in enduro or supermoto trim. Both are available with a 2-stroke 6-speed Minarelli motor and there are sport specification Pro models as well.
Combining easy handling, versatility and low maintenance, the Tango 125 is a bike for town and country. Its low seat height and low weight work with mono shock rear suspension and a steel perimeter frame to keep the rider in control.
Another new model for this year, the Century is a modern twist on a classic design. Inspired by the Rieju 175 from 1953 in looks, it features a liquid-cooled 125cc engine, wavy disc brakes front and rear plus a digital dashboard. A motorcycle that stands out from the crowd in every sense.
